This was a bit of a crazy day.
After a great B&B breakfast, we took off for the Cliffs of Moher (I think they were the Cliffs of Insanity in the Princess Bride movie). The weather was great, the views were wonderful, and we took a few risks that were completely unneccessary.
We drove from the Cliffs to Doolin and that involved driving along some streets that were barely wide enough for our van and yet we found a way to fit us and a surpising number of oncoming trucks carrying gasoline/diesel without any explosions. Paddy also managed to reach out of the window and pick a flower from the roadside hedges not once but twice. I also almost killed him because I still have little to no concept of where the left side of my van is and while he was reaching out to the left, I swerved a bit left. A couple of more inches and I'm pretty sure that we would have smeared Paddy bits all along a stacked stone wall that was along the road.
We made it to Killarney and we have fantastic rooms. We had dinner at a pub that had the soccer game on and made sure to find out where we could catch the USA match tomorrow. Go USA!
That's all for now.
Peace out from Killarney.
