Today we enjoyed a wonderful breakfast at a cafe in the square between the Palais Royal and the Louvre. The breakfast menu consisted of this single option... a croissant, a half-bagette with butter and jam, a glass of orange juice and your choice of coffee item or hot chocolate. We sat in the cafe and waited for the morning rain to end before strolling through the Tuileries garden again and doing a bit of shopping.
We also flew into Dublin, Ireland today and this place is pretty darn cold compared to where we've been and where most of you would be reading this from. We walked through St. Stephen's Green to the Temple Bar area, walked by Trinity College and found a pub near Christchurch to stop in for a pint and to watch the first half of the Camaroon - Denmark game. The pub - O'Neils - was a great find. We had already eaten by the time we got there but we may be headed back from the looks (and smells) of that place. Guinness beef stew... shephard's pie... fish and chip... traditional Irish stew with lamb. It's early yet, maybe I'll head back out for a second dinner and a second, third, and fourth pint.
