Thank you to all that have voted on our gelato quiz, and feel free to post comments in the future! We miss you all and would love to hear from you.
So, tonight we had to post for a few reasons:
1. Sean ate the famous Florentine steak (thanks for the tip Jet!). It was 800grams, or about 1.5lbs of meat! He finished it in the same time I spent eating my meal.
2. We started out dinner next to some British blokes. We had fun dishing out trash about their awful goalie who gave us a draw!.
3. Then, we took a picture for the German group next to us and told them we were rooting for Germany instead of Australia. Due to this, they let us ring their noise maker across the entire restaurant.
4. We ended our night with the coolest group of college grads from California. They sat with Sean and I and we shared travel stories. We told them about Rome (their next destination) and they told us about some of the places they have been. Crazy realization: we are not as young as we think we are. Explanation: as we sat with them we talked with them as if we were college age as well. But, when Sara asked them if they "had the marijuana in Amsterdam" we quickly realized that we are old and don't know the lingo of the times. We could have taught these kids, not gone to school and been friends with them. Regardless, we had a great night with them talking about the Arizona bill 1070, the new PAC 10 additions, and much more.
5.Being with true futbol fans during a game is the BEST!!!!
